Hello!

My name is Ahleah and I am the owner of UnboxDisneyPinCo and SerenityMoonPinCo. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, which is where I currently live with my boyfriend. I have always enjoyed artistic stuff, and have been creating art ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I attended art schools from K4-Sophomore year of college when I ended up dropping out. In 2020, I became very ill and ended up being diagnosed with a chronic illness condition called Gastroparesis, which means paralysis of the stomach. It's a functional disorder that makes your stomach muscle contractions weaker and slower than they need to be to digest your food and pass it on to your intestines. This leads to food sitting too long in your stomach. Because of this I unfortunately had to transition into staying at home all day every day. This sudden diagnosis of a chronic illness literally turned my life upside-down and I really struggled with the fact that I didn’t have anything that I was physically capable of doing anymore. During this time I began avidly collecting official Disney pins and I very quickly amassed a huge collection of pins that I cherished. One day, I came across a pin on Instagram that was made by a small business and it was much bigger than usual Disney pins. with such gorgeous details that I’ve never seen done before by Disney. On this special day I was introduced to the Fantasy Pin community on Instagram and since that moment, I have never wanted anything more than to create all of the pins that I dream about, and this became my new source of joy and purpose in a life that I thought was ruined by my illness. After this, I created my 2 businesses as a way to showcase everything that I love and I hope that you can connect with  at least some parts of me too!
